Certified Phones Solutions Sales Company is a growing telephone systems integrator, interconnect, and value-added reseller for both voice and data network applications. We are authorized GTE, Pacific Bell, US Voice, Wiltel dial tone providers and dealers for for Telrad digital, ESI-IVX, Panasonic phone systems, CCTI automated attendant with voice mail, Plantronics and a host of other communication products. We deal in Northern Telecom, AT&T, Samsung, Toshiba, Tie and most all key systems within our industry. Serving customers since 1982, we provide total telecommunication solutions for our customers by providing them with the best communication solutions for their application needs. All Level I, II, III, & IV Technicians provide field installations and service at client premise for all products supported by CPSSC while maintaining a quality level of communications with both clients and CPSSC personnel.
LEVEL I TECHNICIAN: Cable & Jack, Service Installer
Requirements: One year minimum field installation / service within telecommunication industry. Degree in Telecommunications or related field or equivalent work experience. Licensed driver with own vehicle secure for tools, ladders, & equipment. Proof of insurance. Excellent communication skills and problem solving aptitude. Basic industry knowledge of low voltage transmission, troubleshooting skills of dial tone and key systems. Can use voltage meters, trace & tone, and continually testing procedures. Has own industry standard hand tools, testers, toners, & ladder. Must know 25 pair color code, how to tie, & bundle cables above ceilings, lay & route cables within walls, run exposed cables, staple, mount panduit tracking, terminate and mount back boards, M-66 blocks, RJ-11, RJ-45, alarm RJ-31X jacks, & RJ-21X blocks, voice, fax, modem, Cat-III and Cat-V cable and jacks for professional fit & finish.
LEVEL II TECHNICIAN: Field Service Systems Installer
Requirements: All Level I Technician Requirements as listed above plus: two years minimum field cable & systems installation / service within telecommunication industry. Able to program via laptop or PC and from phone sets: Telrad 816, 2464, 818 Digital; Panasonic KXT-308, 616 1232, Norstar 616, 824, Merlin 410, 820; Toshiba Strata VI, XII, XX; and Tie key systems. Able to layout voice and data cable wire harness for any project, build MDF and SDF back boards; data MDF and SDF with 110 terminations for 10-Base-T & 100 Base-T data network transmission with patch panels, coax RG-56 & 58 thin net. Capable to use Hilti gun, hammer drill, and scissors lift. Able to install riser, feeder, all path and icky pick, aerial T-spanned with turn buckles.
LEVEL III TECHNICIAN: Lead Field Service Systems Installer
Requirements: All Level II Technician Requirements as listed above plus four years minimum field cable and systems installation / service within telecommunication industry. Certified on minimum of three Key systems. Able to program Telrad Digital 128 / 400 & Toshiba DK series, and small PBXs 100 ports, install and program Telrad and CCTI automated attendant voice mail systems. Install external page system wire harness both parallel and series, install bells, chimes, and relays.
LEVEL IV TECHNICIAN: Senior Lead Field Technician
Requirements: All Level III Technician Requirements as listed above plus Six years minimum field cable and systems installation / service within telecommunication industry. Certified on minimum of four Key systems and four small PBXs 100 ports. Able to be a Project Coordinator, define programming, system designs, run installation crew, dispatch, administration paper work, job costing, and able to bid adds, moves and changes, and new sales.
